Forgotten treasure cars Sixty heads of auction.
Collector Car Department at Artcurial, a sale auction house in Paris France has announced an upcoming auction next sixty cars found fifty years of storage in a state intact cars were nestled in a property in West France, under wooden shelter with an open side, roofs are covered with corrugated sheet.
The collection was assembled from the 1950s by Roger Baillon, who ran a transport company based in the west of France, he had planned to display the pre-war cars, he gathered in a museum Over 1970s, before much could be done with cars or location to display in his company suffered a major setback after being forced to sell fifty cars, the collection has become somewhat forgotten by others the remaining cars were sitting for years as seen in the photos below courtesy of Artcurial Motorcars.
Some of the most remarkable cars in the collection are several Talbot Lago T26s which include a rare Grand Sport Aerodynamics and a convertible once owned by King Farouk, Hispano Suiza H6B convertible Millon-Guiet, a Talbot Lago T26 Record Coupe with coachwork by Saoutchik an important 1961 Ferrari 250 GT SWB California Spider and many other interesting cars.



The vehicles are from the teenagers on through the 1970 All will be sold by Artcurial Motorcars in the first part of its annual sale at Retromobile, February 6, 2015 in Paris You can see the video below showing the cars as they were stored with the permission of Artcurial.

David, I agree with you, there are very few cars in this tresure mine, and it will be one heck of a sale, I see a lot of valuable cars in the lot that can and will be restored, you can bet the house just look at the results of the Chevrolet dealership in Nebraska were many of these cars for the money brought some outrages cars that were just common cars old, not cars like these are rare and vary bring some big money in restored form in about 4-5 years you will see these cars pop-up Concourès and sale here in the good old USA.
