NCAP crash test worldwide on Indian cars
Renault and Honda Mobilio Kwid get disappointing ratings overall NCAP crash test.
The Renault Kwid perhaps a family car low cost popular in India, but after a note of recent global crash test, should get much more popular for all the wrong reasons and Mobilio Kwid Renault recently launched Honda faired poorly in the crash- global NCAP tests that points once again that the safety features like airbags should be a standard feature in all cars.

Renault Kwid even with the driver's side airbag has scored only one star for adult occupancy protection, while Honda reported better scores for the variant with dual airbags.
Coming to the Renault Kwid, test frontal impact at a speed of 56kmph revealed that the bodyshell Kwid was unstable and it would not be able to withstand any additional charge beyond the accident.
As for the Honda Mobilio, it fared much better in terms of bodyshell but had a bad head and chest protection in the basic version of the vehicle on request GNCAP tested the variant with two airbags that have achieved three stars in occupant protection category adult.
