Peugeot 207 test drives and car reviews

Peugeot 207 Review - What Car?

Bought the car for 1700 Peugeot 207, 2008 Took plate for a service, 400 00 It was there 6 months before and rear suspension and break records, the 2 front wipers and something with the startup mechanic advised its just wear a month later air bag and light seatbelt took different mech 80 pounds for rewiring today 645 for the clutch, the rear wheels are aligned and a little in the front where the oil is collected Grand car but costs just do not remember any of these costs with my fathers prev 2 car Mechanic says s own a car if you decide to get rid of you do not know the cost of another used car only drove 1,000 miles Review would be wise to give 5 as I love the car because of the costs of my private car 3 stars Each car I presume is unique for playback Thanks .
I picked it up on a problem with diesels on this site if you have problems going to a specialized diesel mechanic or 14 years, I had a 306 turbo and the best service I have ever received is a diesel specialist local Peugeot dealership mechanics have no idea what they are dealing with a specialist will probably be a third of the price to change the injectors and turbo boost pressure without result.
Pug 207 LED flashes on my sisters car pressure oil is what iv done my sisters car was coming with the oil pressure low i changed the filter and he went off for 2 months, then reversed but began to knock on the so iv a motor crank out and give it a complete reconstruction bearings serviced new head gasket head skimed new pump rings oil iv just finished this car started and light oil pressure still coming on so I think now that there is a piston in the oil filter housing and if u use a filter dealer will keep on coming i keep posting when I know what is the problem.
Broadly, don t these two words - French and reliability - in the same sentence, appear to raise issues in my 64 years of cars because I had the misfortune to buy a 207, it was an impulse buy and I rue the day I knocked on the eyes to cut to the chase, do not plan to buy a Peugeot or any other Froggie trash for that matter.
Hi guys been seeing many reports of Peugoet 207 light cluster problems - I mine temporarily fixed, but came back again once I do not think its ECU problems, but I took the light and used my lime girls EMERY BOARD nails and rubbed around the terminals obviously the type of mail, coz you can not do anything with the side of the desk, but a local garage have said spraying a little WD40 on both sides and rub the excess and press together firmly- last attempt lasted two months - all the lights would work when the defect appeared, but contacts have obviously played its just a little time to do, Don t pay out until you have tried - lets face theres not much protection on PUG lights on the wet weather months or strong good luck power washing.

Yes, a reminder for tensioner failed chain distribution was made in 2012 My 207 was not recalled the failed engine in April 2013 I discovered the recall after the agent alerted me Asked for Peugeot repair the damage to their cost, they did the total engine overhaul in February 2016, the same thing happens the light of pollution and missing engine Back to Peugeot, same problem, great quote will see that Peugeot now says 25000 km from last failure corn Kooiman, South Africa.
Hi I have a 2010 207CC Horn here in Cape Town with 68000klm on the clock, so far, no timing chain problem which is Peugeot made about your recent problem, I am very curious, Regards Terry - South Africa.
Horn Hi I bought a second hand 2008 last 207 years with only 67000 km Clock In February this year, I had the dreaded failure of pollution control system associated Peugeot reset the electronic problems and everything was well until recently, when the same problems occurred Peugeot now tell me I have to have the timing chain replaced approximately R12,000 Interesting to read about the recall in 2012 I'll check with the dealer that the previous owner had the car maintained good to have a forum to check these things against Regards Louise Cape - South Africa.
Scary car Peugeot what happens bought this car a Peugeot franchise with extended warranty thank God Bought November 2014 In February 2015, I am alone Stranded on M6 after a warning from the diesel particulate filter may block that was the only warning that I was in the third lane of the M6 in 18 hours not ideal having been towed to a local dealer Peugeot car was diagnosed as a blocked 300 filter, but there are even better there may be a problem injection underlying costs about 3000 fixed dealer DPF under warranty, tried and said diagnostic injector now gone, but they had never seen the problem before 500 miles later on the M66 car lost power in the third way, my favorite place, but now suspicious that heap reported engine problem, repair needed cheers for stating the obvious car now requires 4 new 3000 x injectors warranty also diagnosed two faulty sensors on the convertible top to start each 47 If the car is not under warranty I would have lost the will to li ve, but the warranty does remove the risk to life with this model so disappointed, had 4 previous Peugeots with very minor normal wear and tear problems, but this model is scary needs reminding Peugeot pull your finger out I do not know not that I do with this car make 4 new injectors, particle and fixed roof sensors filter with only 15K on the clock to make this car safe I will not convince now in a new 108 Allure courtesy car, fast, fuel, rattly but feels safer my advice is do not buy a 207CC 2011 in a hurry.
I do not have exactly the same problems with the 207cc plate 12 The dealer knows me in a first database name, I spend as long in the garage this morning resulted in injection issues Fortunately my warranty was extended because of problems long race on the Peugeot car - I want a replacement vehicle - Jaki Boughton Blackpool.

I have a plate 61 Peugeot 207 cc A new diesel engine was to be set within 2 years ago when the car was caught in a 10 days ago motor flash flood is about 13,000 miles the car broke down on a French motorway - lost power and ESP warning warning lights and the engine came on diagnostic said that the four injectors needed to replace the engine warranty was unfortunately only for one year but it is interesting, Peugeot agreed to pay for the parts and I have to only pay for the work is there a fault with this engine that Peugeot knows, but to stop the bad press on social media, etc., he decided to pay the failures - Sally Masey Bristol.
I bought my pug ago when he was 2 years old and 20K on the clock 2 years to less than 3 years, the power steering failed and Peugeot repaired under warranty, at a little less than four years and out of warranty, the wash pump leak in the fuse box and corroded the son - this resulted in a draft heavy 2700 law, which after a quick call to customer services at pug HQ was reduced by 50 as of grace payment office were brilliant, but I'm not impressed that these known defects are not checked as part of the annual service on top of that, the seat belt warning is triggered randomly in despite there being no one in the car and 5 headlight bulbs have blown what happened in my previous pug and seems well known enough to save money on Halfords Fitting bulbs I tried it myself, but the clasp Checklist of lighthouse Disables and was lost somewhere in the middle parts of the engine, I was informed by Peugeot that this little piece of yarn costs 250 to replace because it will take a headlamp unit together He re some eBay sellers who spotted this gap in the market and sell replacement clasp for about 10 Likewise, my previous 207 had an exhaust bracket corroded about 70k miles and was told that the media had not been sold separately if I had to replace the exhaust unit has about 1k as was the sports model Despite this, it is a nice car and probably the best in the price range because it is very economical and results well both in town and on highways trade just before the execution of the guarantee outside.
My 207 GT cabriolet diesel was a demonstration former model with less than 1000 miles on the clock when I got it I got it now 7 years old, my 3rd Peugeot diesel and about 40,000 miles ago A few years go very slowly on steep speed bump in a parking lot caused a spring break before, so I was surprised that you can not do this quickly anyway that before scraping the ground that cost more than 400 both springs had to be replaced Otherwise, the only other cost that maintenance was new exhaust support this year to be honest, I love the car that is economical to 60mpg obtained on motorway journeys, but reading some of the experiences of others that makes me think that my luck might be about to miss.

Hi, he just thought I would put my tuppence worth on this forum has bought 207 January 4 large piece of scrap ago 3 years To be honest, it was not too bad until the last 10 months Usual exhaust suspension bracket, but look on eBay for universal exhaust supports this cost of about 7 to 50 and 15 following suit was one of the engine sensors is hidden in the catalytic converter eventually having to buy another the son stripped all, about 500 all told after that and that work and two others when the large piece of scrap is again in the garage suddenly the engine started making a hell of a racket, all tappy suggesting the cam or upper end date, the garage can not find something wrong but have metallic trim found something obviously suggesting oil are abused they were discussing a mech cian former Peugeot who said that when he was at Peugeot, they had quite a few 207s come with this question and changed the engine warranty, no questions asked, some with less than 20k This car is just off 11-month warranty the car is a 2010 207 with 55K miles on the clock, with full service history, it is true, not all the Peugeot service, but an authorized reseller in good garage service system which apparently uses bits standard Peugeot industry are not exactly forthcoming with encouraging noises so best advice to buy Peugeot, if you have to get rid of the latter one will Had to provide one-star rating in this forum because they unfortunately do not offer a zero or negative star.
So, right Kevin My first and probably the last Peugeot, I've never met a bunch of junk made by the electronics manufacturer must have been designed by a madman My advice would buy a French car, they are a nightmare A very sad day indeed when I sold my Vauxhall Astra - Essex.
22000 miles and the hazard warning lights began to light up like a Christmas tree Temp gauge, ABS, power steering filter clogging and Engine Maintenance told to stop the car because of the temperature gauge to overcome a few seconds and i mean seconds One minute later, it will still only come, go off, come permanently Finally, all the lights are on, even if everything seems to work normally already called the garage to be told can be water in the fuse box and could be expensive, but everything seems to work can someone give me advice please thank you in advance John.
I decided on the 207cc only looks don not judge me, I still think it's one of the best looking cabies around for the price I have to say this is probably the worst experience car purchase I've ever had, I suppose most of the fault fixed only with the dealer, but since the snap of the initial distribution chain drive the car arrived at home I PICK iT did not have to end problems I had dreaded the issue of pollution fault amazes me that Peugeot have no idea what that means oh, it could be one or more of 38 different things at 70 a glance for weeks, the issue went away and came back, I had problems with cold starts being rude saying im could be solved by a software update and reset s self-adaptive but I co mprends why I have to pay You do not pay for Windows Update so why should I pay for an update that is the result of the production of wheel bearings garbage were changed twice, radiator has a main valve leak says so, without losing water New headquarters business necessary due to a known error airbag two pumps were replaced, the engine was rebuilt I seriously had enough of this car, I had the car financing under 6 months and I probably paid what the car is the value of the repairs that the guarantee only covers up to 500 the car is noisy and rattles while, I go out of my car and in works the pug and it is like stepping into a rhythm old fiesta with random beep added ECU to let you know that he is still able to report that the airbag is defective or infact there is a chance of ice-cold e sunny outside, I had admired the car away, I left there the amount of issues I had with this and we tell him oh yeah thats a known problem, it will xxx will cost to repair infuriates me, I will never touch another Peugeot ever, this is the second large piece of metal that I had, the first was a crappy 306 and it didn t cost much if I nt the mind, but I'm stuck with a trash car for another five years 2 s 4K but it was not right, I do not know how they get away Getting angry now, but lets just say I never touch a Peugeot or Citroen apparently they also have the same problems.
I would never buy another French car everything DTI a country where nothing works and nobody cares, including their cars My dealer chargec 20 to change the screenwasher fuse they do several times this cold weather and I did it myself next time with 1 January 50 fuse Halfords and it took less than a minute the sac of fluid on the anti-pollution system for 44K costs 180 at my local garage wouldnt go near my local dealer Richard Hardy again They said chaff against its mounting in the poor design now I have intermittent loss of power steering shit shit car dealer in addition to that the interior trim is poor black fabric still looks scrubed Out - David Robson Northumberland.

I named the car after Christine Stephen King horror film in which the car has a mind, it is clean and kills people This car is dangerous and should be removed from the road I bought ago 2 months with nearly 40,000 on the clock the second time I drove, the engine stopped without warning and pollution light came on the dashboard This happened several times at random over the next two days the car is running just one stop and there's nothing you can do about a lack After close to 60mph on the A303 three cars narrowly escaped plowing the back of me, I took garage and diagnostic machine came with a default of the fuel pressure sensor, which was replaced, but two days later the car from cut again, this time showing pollution the first three times cut within 20 minutes and the pressure of huil e on the fourth I returned to the garage, but this time no errors were recorded, even if it cut all th e Machine I do not feel safe and drive that car will get rid of right away .
I bought a Peugeot 207 there three weeks he continued to lose power and faulty anti-pollution filter showed on the scoreboard now self diagnostic light on My partner was on the highway in fast track at 5am this morning and cut the engine he was nearly killed I could have had my children in that car I lost a daughter in an accident of traffic and I could have lost my two -even including the garage said there is nothing wrong with it when there is clearly a pergeout its 207 Sport 58 - judith priestley Lancashire.

Funny I named my car 207 Christine has been nothing but a pain in the ass, my worst purchase - Kent.

DO NOT BUY PEUGEOT I had many problems with this car, and I'm taking the bus to move while a 16 000 of the new car is just rust on my entry, I had the car 5 years and has only 28,000 miles on the clock in that time, I had faults pollution, defects tire pressure sensors and the dreaded lack esp asr which will cost about 1200 to fix I want to give this car Top Gear to destroy If I did not have a job I sit outside Peugeot garages and warn people off from entering.
I think the dealer has a moral duty to solve the problem you have, I'm sorry, I'll post my car on the web and place an ad highlighting the problem you have and file a complaint with the Trading Standards - Dad Louis from England.
Bought our 207 November 2011 5 years have now passed more than 2000 at this joint Head disappeared twice Constantly coming up with bad pollution control system of warning lights very slow, Jog and failed starts a nightmare car already had 306 no problem this car everything is terrible and I really wish I'd never bought.
Absolutely rubbish I bought this car there a year and then suddenly a message appeared on the dashboard abs about a default, and then break the faulty system etc. The dealer request 1000 to repair this which is apparently a common problem Give your money to charity instead of buying this car trash.

Had the same problem with defective lights and ABS warning braking system, etc. - the car has only 33,700 miles on the clock now and I've only had it for about three months Apparently it is the ECU that will now cost me over 500 - I already had a 302, but has never had a problem - the used car dealer was absolutely useless - Kasey Cooper Northumberland.
I had exactly the same thing after replacing the pump washer only to find the washer pipe flooded the fusebox, costing 160 for a new fuse box Open the fusebox under the bonnet take cover black removing a connector of a time checking the connector housing for signs of liquid damage, it'll be obvious if this is the case - Dorset.
My first car so I am not bound to love it, and I guess I do, therefore handles so brilliant mpg even with the way I drive, people who say it is slow wrong, perhaps my little engine if you work it certainly is not slow makes a wonderful sound high buys regime speed changes of a giant target href å drive a bargain, think they wanted to get rid as they updated regarding the main distributors Peugeot, I am an MOT and basic service for the brilliant value and they gave him the best ever clean interior varnish is very pleasant in the car as well and you can play music from the strong radio lossless sound the car is brilliant too imo bright red had the only problem is the french Electrics P with seat belt indicator goes off without anyone in the seat, but seems be gone Yes, I do that it was faster, but it is still quick and fast enough for a first offense car magnet br Pug.
Hi there, I do not know why everyone except one doesn t like the 207 I bought a 207 Sport last November with 18,500 mls on the clock and I love him to pieces I swapped my Ford Mondeo Titanium X why he Tiptronic automatic in privacy glass snow sports buttons it has a really tough sport mode noise when overtaking and cruises effortlessly at 115 mph, though I'm afraid to be poulled by police so I usually do about 85ish the only problem is that it does not have much space for all the things I used to carry in the Mondeo and the glove box is the disaster of a designer love the car however, put the fun back into car - Duncan Walsh Lancashire.
This is the worst car ever it leaks water when it rains, which means stripping in front of the car to fix the tire sensors failed after about 1 month of purchase is slow and very heavy on It delivers fuel bulbs and launch different problems on the computer, I would not buy another Peugeot or ever recommend to everyone.
This car must have been in an accident Currently driving a 2006 207 Sport HDi 110 with 130,000 miles and it will be bothered at all bulbs are a problem though, but I find that if I buy lightbulbs Hella 8 a sudden they last much longer as they are good quality Sorry to hear you're having issues with yours, but I like mine - County Armagh.

This is the first time I had to come back to information on a website because of frustration and sheer desperation My Peugeot is the worst car I've ever owned in my life again, I had a clutch yelling at aways charged traction I said he would leave it still scream like a cat after 188000 reliable kM s over 8000 km dual climate air conditioner stopped working, I spent a fortune taking a dealer to another as I have lost my warranty because I went to 1800 km on the service because of me not being able to get a reservation within 2 weeks to a dealer representing the agent and I do up to 1500 kilometers on a path along the west coast in 2 days Disgusting fuel pollution indicator caused the cut and I had to replace the diesel filter once a month to avoid the frustration continues the cooling fan stopped working to 26,000 KM This was changed to agents at a high cost This set of original fan seized at 37000 km I've replaced by a motor used BMW 320i fan at almost no cost At the mounting mod exclusion which was 3x washers for the spaced rear fan missed paste in the radiator car made another 155,00km used on a fan motor works perfectly from a BMW that had discarded that knows what KM on the ignition it failed to 180000 km, who was replaced at a great cost included reprogramming all I have to say now is the shame of all these positive stories about the beautiful 207 Peugeot this is my last ever I owned BMW 4 s before without problems I really enjoyed the beauty of the Peugeot and the wonderful drive and handling, but this was my worst nightmare.
Unfortunately, the site does not allow users to evaluate a vehice with zero stars, which is a shame because it seems that many buyers would have, including me My 207 has spent more time with the mechanics in recent years I care to remember in the last two months, he had a new mounted ECU and I had to return to the garage because the central locking system had not been working and caused a nightmare when all rear lights failed during I was driving at night on the highway yesterday, after taking again the power steering me was very slow at low speed mechanics at the dealership said the Powersteering rack had to be replaced at a cost of 2 large and gasket cylinder head was leaking oil and needed to be replaced at a cost of a thousand pounds the car is five years old and I think I've spent more in repairs in are five years since I've done about buying the stupid thing Having owned three 206CCs Peugeot, I am disgusted by the performance of this vehicle and have to say that, not only did I buy another Peugeot, I advised all my friends and family to avoid them as not only that, I took the car to a small garage, an independent who cited me 650 pounds for the work that the dealer claimed could not be done for less than 3,000.
We have the same problem, the car is a 56 plate and an oil leak on the driver side front corner of the head need to get quotes or ask for advice if it is a known problem - Paul Grimes England.
Overall, it is a great car that I own the six full load gearbox 207 GT THP 156 badged GTi in my country, the true GTi THP 175 is here badged RC My father owns both and we're more than satisfies both the drive is too fun and it's more than just a hot hatch My only complaint is the legroom reduces both the door 2 and 4 door hatch versions.
Bought this car in 2007 with 27,000 mls and two previous owners, there are four days in a This dealership is my first Peugeot and probabley my last I drive past fifty years, mainly Renaults, without any problems, but I thought I should a change - fool that I am the car seemed OK on the test track and apparently had a clear history It also has a one year warranty already, I have a great difficuty enter the first starting gear, exacerbating in traffic, the dealer suggested trying to enter the third first report, I tried depressing and releasing the clutch 2nd gear is too notchy tonight it took several attempts to enter reversing gearbox is the worst I've ever had, my shoulder pain, I saw the dealer earlier that said they have the car next week because they just wind to be able to do something that I am a relaxed driver, but the suspension is terrible on bumpy roads; it jars through your spine and neck, it feels like the car is thrown around The dealer said the manufacturers have hardened the suspension, but the springs break, I thought it was due to speed bumps, because of our roads bumpy But others say no distributor said THIS SPACE September 20, 2011, the mechanic could loosen the suspension a little WATCH.

My overall experience was very good lot of excellent economy up and drive a bit of a hard turn if anything Too many unhappy people buy cars, whether used that have not been performed correctly or purchase new and not properly executes all modern diesel engines have much plumbing these days because of my neighbor emission components that had problems with his Golf Tdi the trick is to understand how it works and what to avoid that I am a diesel engineer and follow some basic rules, but with important when driving my turbo diesel Let the engine idle for some time when it comes to start and drive to cool slowly until the engine is fully warmed up otherwise you simply complete the entry and turbo with oil vent pipe CCV never put off a warm engine while su ite Let it idle for 10-20 seconds to allow the oil to cool the turbo down if you do a lot of small series take to the road once a week and clear the engine with few defects remediation apllication a full speed re caused by one fuel filter that blocked on the 207 is a bad design, but cheap to replace two interference EGR valve 3 meters of air on the left side of the throttle body not expensive and easy to replace 4 Clogged FAP due to excessive cold short trips Add Wynns cerium based on a golden formula to the fuel tank every 5,000 miles to keep evil away from injectors and DPF filter I have done 46K miles on mine and no defect Yes many dealers are unnecessary and sometimes make things worse I've seen a 307 HDi where the dealer broke the oil service and it always destroys enigne Idiots check the oil and yourself fluid levels Insist that the dealer shows that the oil used is the correct quality and recommended cheat and use a plastic semi-You must use 5W-30 fully synthetic Remember, the car will be as good as the owner and care servcie.
Well, as most people on here, I'm too so so disappointed in the unnecessary part of the French engineering Some or most of you will not be as lucky as me because I am getting a new the first engine was abandoned after 43,000 kilometers Luckily it was still under warranty now the new engine will be replaced after only 10,500 kilometers same problem as the other engine pollution system They will all tests replace all parts that Peugeot say that must be done and it starts again once I drive 207 Gti, which apparently is the same engine as the BMW 1 and the Mini Cooper SI've talked to some of my friends who drive Minis and Beemers and they do not have those problems then why do Peugeot and the moral of the story is don t buy another car Frencg I think I can come back to buy OPEL - Rob Moore of Germany.
I had the same problem with the engine, but depollution when I stopped to fill the car with fuel from the supermarket, the problem disappeared and it was more than two years that happened - Andrew Lord of England.
I bought my 2nd hand 207GT DC in September 2010 Since I had endless problems is very rattly a cold start especially in winter, Peugeot have told me is how the car is I also suffers terrible cut with the car when approaching junctions or come to a stop, up the tachometer and engine cut just when he drops then is very slow when you first remove her as he gets a boost and draws to speed propery Peugoet have said there is no fault and there is nothing wrong with the car rear parking sensor work only from time to time and again as faultless watch on the ems they say not fault overall I still buy a Peugeot despite these problems are common amoung their cars they seem t recognize the problem or you want to help repair.
I had a similar problem with a Renault Laguna - The remedy was downright dangerous to remove the throttle body and clean just use WD40 and a clean cloth and the problem is solved necessary to again approximately 30,000 miles later - Paul Yates Kent.
My daughter 207cc on a plate 57 She had the same cutting issue took dealers Toomey Peugeot They said it was a known defect and updated the software in the ECU which fixed the problem a year later, it is still many also agree with the slow pullaway Doesn t really seem to be a mechanical defect well outside of that, she's had new rear screen because the heated window didn t work a dashboard panel replaced because a light was not t contract Aircon stopped working Fortunately, all covered on the extended warranty, I also noticed a gas smell everything looks now and again Peugeot don t very good cars - Lee W Essex.

I have a Peugeot 207 on a plate 56 I had the car for 3 years and the problems started that you experienced, I was informed by Evans Halshaw to take the car to a dealership and have a bet update system Ecu It cheer me to know that the update worked on your car I love my car is your car running smoothly by always - Janette Hill Devon.
The lack of power is caused by synchronization that is out and rattley beginning is a defective chain tensioner, which are well-known problems easily fixed, but expensive, do not let you pass on Peugeot - England.
Difficult to be precise with fault diagnosis without the car to look at, but there are serious design flaws with the BMW PSA small family of petrol engines There Sá common development engine and these issues affect BMW MINI, Peugeot Citroën and Volvo models using 1 4, 1 6, with 1 6 turbo models, also motors with the system VANOS VVT can not be diagnosed with the computer diagnostic system used by many repairers as it is a failure mechanical system that maintains good timing essentially the cam gears and crank loose their position because of technical parts and substandard used in the manufacture of origin There are new parts and a revised framework to correct the symptoms but can be varied include, failure parking sensors according to the central unit of odd information but its Elect French RICS remembers most common fault of pollution control system, stalling, hesitation, misfire on ticks on excessive oil consumption, poor performance, no turbo boost on the THP Cooper slams noisy start, and usually typing noise Cure engine, we repaired a number of cars equipped with these engines now dealers after franchise were either unable to find fault or simply been more enthusiastic about prices It requires a special set engine tools lock a certain precision and care and reasonable cart parts but does not cure the issue and prevent recurrence As a guide price, we are an engineering company specialized motor sports rather than a main distributor and paying them 550 and parts and VAT for this work with all future work with the guarantee of 12mn th 15kmile - Matt Stephens Northamptonshire.
Hi Matt, I read your comments on the 207 questions, please let me know if you are still carrying out the work mentioned in the comments that you suffer my car with some of the mentioned defects A big thank you, - Adam Northamptonshire MCG.

If I could, I would have crushed this car that I've never had so many problems with a brand new car in my life, I had so many faults with it the list is endless The only thing that happened was my car wouldn t start if I had to have towed at the Peugeot garage in Chiswick worst place ever, they checked and it gave back and I didn t matter and on the way back a flashed light I called all on and was told to put back as it is dangerous to drive, I returned 3 weeks later I recovered I was a motor means to a wedding reception and my friend put out car on the road Central and hazard lights stopped working I could have lost my life, it was late and some people stop and push it off the road I had taken for Peugeot the following morning they kept my car for 3 months I got back and 2 weeks groins later same thing, but luck was on my way and once again they paid me for being towed to them and even 2 months that they had, as I gave the car that I have a pr int on all the work done to the car, it was 5 pages when printing the guy was in shock, as I it in only 2 of what I experienced with Peugeot I regret the day I got it.
My 207 was there fairly reliable up to two months, it was served by Peugot and they informed me that the head gasket went and quoted me around 700 to fix it was 3 months outside the warranty These 207 s have a problem with the head gasket or head and flees to the front engine right now the head cover head cover leaks and measure after 3 attempts, they were unable to seal the continuous saga.
Hi Nigel, I have exactly the same problem, wondering, have you managed to get to the bottom of rocker problem - Chris Gander Buckinghamshire.
Hi, there are some reasons why these leaks but replacing the valve cover gasket won t help the rocker oil breather is the question because when the turbo spools, it sucks oil in the turbo and leaks under the plastic piece black h-race boost pipe the engine on the violas more, make sure your air filter again and replace the rubber O-ring where admission clips turbo breather Like any turbo car, you shouldn t have the pipe as close to the poor design decision I d and run Renew piping away from the air box altogether - Andy Oli of England.
Just had the dreaded abs ecu the problem that affects the steering, speedometer, abs brakes, traction control and also puts up messages depollution dealer said 560 to replace ECU, the car has 27K miles in 4 5 years and 56 reg is obviously very common fault this is shameful and I'll be getting rid of the car as soon as possible, we had a 206 before which was fine, the 207 is too complex and the quality is not good enough , who had been on relaible is either very lucky or living on borrowed time.
Have you managed to solve this problem or are you still get a fault that I am also experienced what appears to be the same problem as you describe - England.

I just read reviews, I thought about buying a new Peugeot 207 as I had 106 which was a brilliant car and I am reluctant to part with the only reason I am is because " it is quite old now and I feel it's time for a new I could think of other brands as it sounds as if what I think the fault of a manufacturer, I will keep the 106 as the return of any way - Becca Jones Flintshire.
Exactly what happened to my 56 reg 207 a month warranty and everything went wrong Thought after spending hundreds of books I better get rid of, one month after the sale to a dealer the head gasket went escape Fortunately for me have always had Peugeot and Citroen and never had such problems Needless to say, I will never buy or recommend a 207 - Kerry Horner Wiltshire.
I bought my 207 two and a half years ago and have had several issues with it problems and defects consisted joined half hung back doors, light bulbs seem to be constantly going, I get a changed and the other is My most recent problem misfire while pulling out of the first car my kangaroo hop which was a bit embarrasing like I marked with the guys, I think they thought it was my This woman driving cost me a fair bit to fix it also caused my car to rev up slightly at intervals while I fixed in traffic and sounded as if she was tapping at any time as when I get to 60- 70mph the car seems to vibrate a bit which is also off-putting rolling to a roundabout, it cracks when you try to put it in first gear, which is very annoying good points for me is that it seems quite nice and e dashboard and the interior is attractive and stocky Oh, and absolutely tiny glove box.
Bought 207 November 2009 April 2010 new clutch required in January 2011 abs light came on, a new sensor mounted on the right rear wheel was back rear brake fault on the dashboard, he returned to the garage, the mechanic told me bSI could be defective unit and the car has only done 22000 miles, waste pile that I would t touch another Peugeot if it was given to me, I will return to a chevvy from now.
Beautiful car until you use it returned to dealers lot of times, 20,000 miles and you get gassed in the car stopped keep being told no problem found, they should try to drive for a while Would stuck with fords.

Were very disappointed by Carmela His Peugeot 207 hdi April 1 very smoky exhaust fumes, especially at night, was arrested by the police because they thought my car was on fire got him to the garage three times, they me say nothing is wrong the mechanic told me to give him a good beating 100 miles as seems sort the car until the next time I'm stuck with the car because of finance - Dixon Keith County Londonderry.
Bought this brand new car and I thought I would also write a report based on what I read on the site Love this car for its torque is January 6 diesel nippier much as my previous April 1 but Fiesta it has some flaws, in addition to what is mentioned above after the first service has changed, the air conditioning is absolutely revolting you'd think I lived in constant squeak farm off the brakes, looked like a stupid conductive by no less than three full dealer for Peugeot had new brake pads to 12,000 and they still squeak whatever time embarressment Its a total yesterday was third exit of a roundabout midsize car and almost turned on itself, the scariest moment I ever get rid of it in April and I count the days the only reason I gave it 2 stars is down to the look and speed he when checking out of this doubt I'll ever buy a new Pug especially when three dealers can not solve my problems.
If this car 8 months took first main dealers for MoT wanted 1000 to go now radiator leaking because it is rusty, it is only done 29000 Don t buy, dealers are rubbish and of no help.
Personally, I can not fault the car at all it was a horse fair work has covered 120k in just over 4 years and hasn t gave me a little trouble Strength is superb, as the engine will he only 20k 120k and not above, the seats are very nice and comfortable too in all, I'd buy another 207 and I recommended them to people before and they bought and to this day are still very happy with her.
I agree, I had a second hand reg 07 207 for three months and it didnt let me down again It sa nice car and I do around if not more than 150 miles a week People whine saying bulbs continue to blow, I just change both at 85p each and it took five minutes also mine is a little slow when started, but when left for 20 seconds, it grows well may decide to obtain updates if eCU it persists cars go wrong and need fixing; that's life - Richard Baldwin of England.
It was three weeks ago when the cold snap, I started having engine failure needs to come repair light, I reported to Motability they suggested I call the RAC RAC man duly lifted connected computer diagnostic and reset the problem by declaring that he was a Taring to protect the engine, it literally reduces tension in the car up to 6 volts when driving your car and ask for performance, it is designed to do it let lead to 40 -50 mph it happened again a week later when I returned the car to the dealer again be reset and be told that the problem was not the car, but the garages premises that sell diesel summer, which is the gel so here I am sitting on the christmas morning after visiting the local family waiting to head south on Boxing day to see family and don t he rear ve yet this time the car was completely cut off in the middle of the road the engine, it has restarted and I got home, but I'm currently awaiting the RAC again.

My colleague and I both own Peugeot 207 hdi diesel cars April 1, 2011 61 plates My car has only 6450 miles, my 12300 colleague in 4 weeks apart both cars suffered exactly the same defect, ENGINE FAILURE witness light came on, and the cars are LIMP mode, where you can drive the car, but with limited power, dealers Peugeot SUNDERLAND Tyne and Wear, asked us where we bought diesel fuel, we both sustenance to Asda, dealers told us they had 20 cases of the same problem in the past 6 8 weeks where CHEAP SUPERMARKET DIESEL was the problem, which causes fuel filters to Clogg plugg their solution, drain, replace the fuel filter housing of the fuel filter and use the BP brand fuel or SHELL however ASDA state is consistent with their diesel commercial standards standards re keep the case, but why Peugeot did not inform customers brand Diesel used only when they have been so many cases of the same wells 432 a time to repair their Don probably not want G OT LIONS GET INJURED leaving homeowners without EMOTIONS movement and VERY NEGATIVE OR is it a lack of recall as we thought that our cars had diesel heaters to prevent WAX in diesel We are investigating the diesel fuel filter by specialized engineers and look forward to hearing about similar cases Nov Dec 2012 - Kevin Gallagher Durham.
There was an update on this boyfriend had the same thing happen to him now with diesel Sainsbury told him they were selling summer diesel which froze - Emmy Quinn d 'England.
I have a plate Sportium 61,207 I bought new in November 2011 had exactly the same problem light comes on the engine called need of repair and the motor switches to soft mode What happened 3 times in less than 2 years the main distributor in Durham keeps changing the fuel filter and tells us not to use supermarket fuel They will do nothing to actually cure the problem, it happened 1300 miles, 6500 miles and 19,500 miles and no one at the dealership will talk to me about how Peugeot treat customers is a shame, I contacted trading standards and told my story to the car, but unfortunately without the help of either the head of customer services office gave me a refund of 103 for the last filter change and a free service, but what good is that when my car 14500 continues to fail and continue to do, I think, in the race reduce emissions and road tax this engine has not been properly developed and does not work reliably on the fuel that is available the governm t insist that 7 biodiesel is added to the product forecourt and I think this is what causes the problem in cold weather There should be a law against sale of defective goods, but nobody wants to help There is a serious problem with June 1 HDi engine and this engine is equipped with other manufacturers such as Citroen, Ford and Volvo etc. if you want reliability I advise you to stay well clear of this engine actually don t buy Peugeot because they are a terrible company to deal with when things go wrong and they do not know the meaning of customer satisfaction - tom cook Durham.
I have a plate Sportium 61,207 I bought new in November 2011 had exactly the same problem, light management has to say the engine needs repair and the motor switches to soft mode What happened 3 times in less than 2 years, the primary dealer Durham keeps changing the fuel filter and tells us not to use supermarket fuel They will do nothing to actually cure the problem, it happened 1300 miles, 6500 miles and 19,500 miles person and the dealer will tell me about how Peugeot treat customers is a shame, I contacted trading standards and told my story to the car, but unfortunately without the help of either the head Office of customer service gave me a refund of 103 for the last filter change and a free service, but what good is that when my car 14500 continues to fail and continue to do, I think, in the race to reduce emissions and reduce road tax this engine has not been properly developed and does not work reliably on the fuel that is available T he government insists that 7 biodiesel is added to the product forecourt and I think that's what caused the problem in cold weather There should be a law against sale of defective goods, but nobody wants to help There is a serious problem with June 1 and HDi engine is equipped by other manufacturers such as Citroen, Ford and Volvo etc. if you want reliability I advise you to stay well clear of this engine actually don t buy Peugeot because they are a terrible business to deal with when things go wrong and they do not know the meaning of customer satisfaction - tom cook Durham.
I would give it no stars if I could worst car I ever bought nothing but problems Cam belt broke at 29000 miles, stop the engine in the fast lane of the highway Car under 3 years alternator had to be replaced 3 times numerous other defects and now three and a half years the dreaded anti-pollution light came on I think we should take in on a tip, I would inflict this car in person nE nO BUY PEUGEOT - mORE RELIABLE cAR NEVER br br.

Just because you've had a bad experience, did not do all Peugeots bad cars and I do not mean to be rude, but it is very stupid to warn against the purchase of a range depending your own limited experience and I very unlucky Peugeot and never had any problems with him and love I know other people who love them, I also purchased new Mercs in the last 20 years and have had problems I do not know how my E-Class, but would never be stupid enough to say they are rubbish cars because the numbers speak for themselves so let's realistic here, if Peugeot are garbage, no one would buy them and they wouldn t be one of the most popular cars in the world would they - Mike Collins Dorset.
I would agree with LG England, I had 307 for only 7 months and had endless problems with it, it is only a few years never had so many problems with another car before now, my catalytic converter has a fault after many other defects - also have anti-pollution messages - Liz R of Warwickshire.
I had my 207 m game for four years and spent 2700 on defects Dealer was fresh out of school so he didn t sell very well because I got what I wanted, now I just want to burn and call it a day Oh What a joke if you get one on finance, attention to trap ppi It cost me 2000 - England dairy milk.
I agree with the comments that I owned before my five Peugeots 207 and would not give a single star, again, it will be my last problems after problems, brakes have changed completely after three years, the gearbox had to be rehabilitated six months later, a strong smell of smoke inside, I do not think after three years - Laurent Maresse Warwickshire.
My daughter bought a Peugeot 207 2007 model second hand from a local agent Peugeot three years ago, she said it was a demonstration car What a disaster, the comedy of errors by the agent They just does not seem to worry about customer care issues with the cooling system, other problems the last was the distribution chain that erupted at 86000 kms Even then, the agents were very sloppy, we had to resort to be insistent, aggressive and almost abusive language to get a reaction after all this, they have now - after the car had been set back there almost three weeks - not even bother to check with the customer if everything was well now that my father, brother and I have led several Peugeots since the 1980s, I never touch or approach a new - south Africa.

My 207 has spent the last 18 months in and out of the dealership with the car anti-pollution alert dreaded problem just closes down this also happened when he was three and a half years and they can t fix it is obviously a common fault with this model as I have read many reviews, they should make a point - Charlotte Thomas of Britain.
I have not owned one of these, and after my experience hiring a holiday in Spain, I do we would not touch with a barge pole There was a small diesel, which would not pull your socks on the mountain roads, I was constantly change between the first speed and the second, struggling to keep my brother-son driving an old Ford Ka ten years, which he said never dropped below the third gear It would not shoot anything below 1,800 rpm, which meant that the roundabouts I had to downshift into first gear, despite the fact that I kept rolling coupled with not very comfortable driving position, I can honestly say this is the worst car I've ever driven - Hertfordshire.
Oh my god, I totally agree with the comments above, I bought my Peugeot 207 June 07 on Christmas Eve 2008 while driving the highway, the car made a terrible blow and light engine management appeared, it appeared when the car was taken to the dealership where I bought it from, the water pump had gone causing the cam belt to engage and the total failure of the engine as the person above, it happened exactly 29,000 miles to 45,000 miles now, I was told the gearbox must be replaced, I hasten to add that I've been driving 20 years and never had this problem before with another car that I will never buy another battery Peugeot clackety waste - Kent.
This car is the worst purchase I ever made if I could put no stars I Had I paid my bride in full, I would abolish this car I would not want anyone I've only had problems with this car since day first thing super disc changer 5 and stuck again 5 of my CD's stuck in this no problem, I thought, I'll just take another more basic stereo, but no, it should be the same or I lose my digital display 250 a few weeks later, the clutch New steering wheel with connector 1000 I returned the car and it seems slow for a turbo 2litre I took the car to a mechanic I know who informed me the turbo was disconnected I left it unplugged and taken for Peugeot who told me that I need a new turbo, I returned to my friend who just connected the turbo back and it worked again next the lights; I was driving on the highway and a car behind me flashes continuously for about 5 miles, I pull off the highway service find that my two taillamps and a sidelight had all gone together, I changed all the lights many times no problem because for two months, then the lack of fight against pollution began; the car lost power every time the light came, I brought my friend the engineer, he changed some of the filters and any other problems for a while all following boot taken went; I unlocked the car one day and the trunk open on its own, I tried to close it, but it opened again, now I have to press my weight on the shoe until it locks in hold it closed, then open it again I to lock and unlock the car and go through the same routine again to close This happens every time I unlock the car, too, if I take a friend and the car running shoe open when they open the door and I have to go out and close the next thing again was the power windows; when I open the passenger window using control driver side, I can not the window to go back and have to lean on the passenger side to fix it a few weeks ago after being on a quarter night work I turned the engine on and was greeted by default ABS, ESP monitoring ASR does not work and finally ANTI POLLUTION default again, I got to the car home and when I used it more later in the day, the lights had disappeared a week later on the way to work, ANTI POLLUTION light came and the car lost all power grinding slowly stopped I waited 5 minutes and tried to start the car, it started, I took the car to a mechanic who said he could not find anything wrong with the car and added some diesel additives and advised me to try to go for long runs I f and has light now DEFAULT ANTI POLLutIOn is back with a Vengeance, my car is now more than a mile before cutting through the antipollution fault and I'm st street transport without work or take my daughter to school, I never ever ever buy never never never never nEVER aGAIN a PEUGEOT AND INFORM EVERYONE DO NOT ACCEPT aN EVEN IF OFFERED FOR FREE I HATE THIS CAR AND PRAY EVERY NIGHT THAT aN aRTICULATED TRUCK IT smite AND SMASH IT IN PIECES.

Could not believe what he is writing It seems to be a fake review due to the fact that the Peugeot 207 began in 2006 and this guy has a 2003 a - Marc Surer London.
Hi Dave, regarding the lack of fight against pollution, I 807 hdi 2 February which continued to do that I found a company that turns off all fight against the relavent waste pollution, remap the car more power and better fuel than I did my 807 and have never looked back follow this link to read customer forums and see for yourself hope this helps you - John Wild Lancashire.
I totaly agree with the person that I purchased my Peugeot 207 m play in 2007, I have only had major problems with this car since day Dealers are pretty bloody useless, quick to sell me new car brand, but as soon as the problems start, they were useless, I have had thousands spent on this car, because of all his faults, luckily covered by the warranty of 3 years I broke twice Peugeot didn t give ast, just say you're on your own, just trying to get the car to us Yeah, great laugh when the car dies on you dO NOT TOUCH drive Peugeots worst Sorry to burst your bubble - Debbie cheese Dorset.
Did you ever get to the bottom of the fault depolution I have exactly the same - James Dean from England.

Hi all I bought my domain ecological June 1 it 6 months ago second hand I get 55 mpg on which is pretty impressive compared to my previous cars and this is one of the main reasons why I ' bought as the cost of fuel is not going these days and the need to make the most of my pos fuel tax is only 90 for the year also is good Ok a little slow sometimes, but I put it to down to whether the ecological model and designed not rev too high etc. Anyway now does about 24,000 miles and my mechanic says my clutch rises above me as he performed another I do day gift t peugeot confidence as had some ups Hick with them when I bought the car in the first place the front brakes had to be replaced too that I did not expect after this amount of miles what does that there is anyone know if the clutch is hatching t in the warrenty that I still have 6 months left should replace Peugeot noticed free as some seals are too perrishing around the rear window mainly but it's not important so expected to have very few projects law in the early years of owning this car as it is different facter main reason I bought are beggining endless bills Although it is still under warranty I m Rating 4 star car, but thats only after 6 months of owning How will evaluate in 6 months if - Incase anyone can help with the question of the guarantee clutch above trying to do some homework before you confront me. Sincerely seller
My clutch has just 30,000 miles and not covered by the warranty The warranty covers up to 6000 which is ridiculous; after that it is considered usury, I am a careful lady driver who drives primarily on highways and roadways My previous car was a Volvo and had 150,000 miles before the clutch went I complained to warranty service and all the way to customer care, saying that although it was not covered by the warranty should be covered by the rights of consumers to say, ignores purposes I considered it did not wear it was just a manufacturing defect or an inferior product I got absolutely nowhere it should have cost 771 Perry s to repair, but I took it to a company clutch reputable who charged me 236 main dealers Peugeot just seem to charge the earth the moon and stars which is just another slap for something I think I should not have to pay a penny for first on top of that I had to have my bluetooth unit has changed twice in the first year to buy the car apart from that, I have to admit I do not like the car that I 'just hope nothing els e go wrong with it, I bought a new car so I had peace of mind, not to spend money on things like that - Wendy Hadaway Buckinghamshire.
You are moaning about 150,000 miles on a clutch I assume you felt hard done by when the tires are too bald - London.
No, I was not moaning about 150,000 miles on my clutch was over my Volvo which was great I can complain about not getting 30,000 miles clutch on my Peugeot 207 Maybe you should have read my review a little more carefully, Tim London - Wendy Hadaway Buckinghamshire.

If you want a really honest review of the Peugeot 207 then read I am very bad at writing essays, but I am not on, so please don? T be intimidated by the length of my review, I think people forget that you can easily get a bad egg with cars and that doesn t necessarily mean the car is not good just because they had a bad part I brought my 207 HDi Sport June 1 it 6 months ago the upgrade my little luxury KA KA miss my lot; but the only thing I miss is the leather interior The 207 really beautiful record, I find a lot smoother than my KA and even old Don Fiesta 2005 my boyfriend get me wrong if you compare it to a car Executive like a Jaguar or Audi then yes it is not as smooth it is very powerful and nippy despite being a diesel engine and accelerates more like a gasoline car I like the speed of change and the global position of seats is large love that I can move just about anything to get the right seating position it feels large and spacious, but very disappointing in size when you park it has a 5 NCAP safety rating and clips Isofix I had my niece baby in the car and it is extremely easy to make her front seat and back, with plenty of room for two other passengers in the back, and many startup space for a stroller etc sport seats that come in sport and GT models are extremely comfortable again, I would have liked to have kept my leather interior and really miss, but if I must have her then you should go for the GT version is partial leather, or just pay for have recovered, I'm certainly doing at any given time, I about 550 miles to a tank of diesel I drive like I'm a runner girl and have been told I drive more like a guy with sensible driving and cost you easily able to get 600 miles to a tank, with current fuel price of 1 to 14 a liter cost around 50 to fill If you want to know the mpg then you can work for yourself girl runner I ma not a mathematician, I was very surprised that in spite of that either a 1 6 and a sport, it is only a 5 insurance group so my extremely cheap premium tax is only 35 per year louse r diesel sport and therefore generally very cheap to run if you want the extra bhp GT and get your tax will cost more for the year, but still cheaper than if you brought a GTI gasoline the only problem that I 'I had my car since I was brought with the engine rear wiper does not work that was done not under warranty When I was looking for a Peugeot I was skeptical to whether a car French, but found mine reliable that I'm a good egg All comments read before buying recommended that the diesel engine seemed to be the most reliable car and much more efficient than gasoline Overall I think it is a good reliable car and cheap to run My boyfriend loved me so much when driving his Fiesta began to go wrong all the time he went and brought the GT version with panoramic glass roof and has not looked back.
I posted this comment on my own car a good little while ago I had my 207 HDi 90 Sport for a year and two months now and I must say it was a credit to me, I do a lot of miles from the highway and covered more than 20,000 miles without problems, I can honestly recommend this car to anyone who's thinking about buying one, I even get 65mpg from a June 1 Diesel and tax of 35 for year is a big bonus Peugeot made a real star, a huge 5 5 out of me now, I now have 43k on the clock and it will be 3 next year can still love this car to pieces, I can quite see where you just because they are wonderful wee cars - Ciaran M Northern Ireland.
To be honest, my mark2 Renault Clio was better I bought the car on finance when I promised that the tax would be cheaper than my megabyte It was not I told the person that the brakes squeaked and m has foisted with the fact that the car was on the forecourt for a very bad month I had it checked by a friend of mine who is a mechanic and he said that he who with the brakes not use grease copper so they are now worn as tomorrow I just hit 36,000 miles, now it's gone and it's backfiring and tapping even if it's oil in the engine a really terrible car I do not know what I was thinking when I bought it, but I would hadn t now br br.
I can not see how fat affects copper brake wear - Dennis Jones Dorset.
Satisfied with my 207 but with problems when in first gear shift As long as the car is completely stopped no problem selecting first gear If however you are in traffic, which starts moving if you put the car in second gear, then suddenly the traffic before slows roundabouts and traffic lights, for example if you are below the rate for the 2nd gear and try to slide into first gear, the crisis very hard this sharp gears last week during maintenance of the car, the response was that they could find no problem and maybe I was not enough despressing the clutch made a mental note to look at my driving style, but problem still occur, I asked two other people to try the car for me and they have the same problem the car is still under warranty and I've just re Serve to her to come back next week, I wondered if anyone else had problems with the first speed in a rolling stop situation.
Yes having exactly the same problem incomplete stop at traffic lights, roundabouts, etc. The only way to hit the first speed is to stop the sluggish car to pull away in 2 also find reverse is sometimes difficult to strike My wife had to dealers we bought starting today and they said it's nowt wrong just been on the phone there 5 minutes and she said within 300yards was as bad, if not worse than ever 07 Cars reg and honestly is the biggest bunch of PC I've ever had her going back tomorrow - Colin Clark of Durham.

I can not believe you want to use first gear for more than thereby Incredible No wonder your car is not happy to learn to drive properly - good conductor of England.
You must not, in a car, downshift into first gear on the go Some older cars can handle geared down, but I would not do it in a car - Cornwall.
I loved my 207 I personally think people are really just nit picking when they are bitching about their 207 I recently traded my July 6 207 6 January HDI 110 Sport in a new Volkswagen Polo TDI 90 June 1 207 Moda has 105,000 miles on it and it never gave me any problems it was cheap to run, tax, and ensure very nippy in addition, it was extremely comfortable, i want my 207 back because this new Polo is not nearly as good as the Peugeot seats are rock solid, the engine died in comparisson to the 207 dashboard is typically bland as they come, my model Moda doesnt even have headlights, engine also when revved hard clattery it puts me in mind of September 1 1995 405 TDRS I was there are even many years, the interior materials are bland, the rear leg room is almost nonexistent.
What a bunch of c p, you'd better walk Dealers are a waste of space and I'm not just giving 1 star because I can not give off no rating.
Br bought my new 207 in September 2009. From the beginning I had a recurring problem with the timing of the engine as I slowed to a junction or pull on my drive or parking space Brought back to the dealer, but their computer diagnostic shows nothing wrong they suggested I leave the car with them to walk with on board the Diagnositc computer to see if it happens when they drive, but it can go for weeks without light battery lights as the engine stalls, and if I catch him in time I can re-start the engine before it actually hold very disappointed - had a 106 for 8 years with not a single problem in their passport Tied agreement for 3 years, but not likely to renew it is obviously a mistake, but I am not to be made to believe it's my imagination br br.

I had the same problem, I took my new 207 to the dealer and they said I need a download had to leave the car with them for a day that the engine should be cold was no problem since - Carol Welch Sussex.
I bought my 58 plate 207 in June 99 New pads and discs made and now all rear seat belt buckles are locked and don t work at all brake grind again, the list is long and never Peugeot - David Fraser Lothian.
This car is dangerous with a capital D My car was completely cut several times now, and each time the same AntilPollution oil pressure warning is displayed and beeps It happens at full speed and is extremely dangerous, I almost cause a stack on the way home the other day, doing 60 mph and the engine just cut, letting you roll to a stop, and once it's stopped it will allow you to restart it again, but it won t let you restart while his bearing, he should stop, I took it to a main distributor and they could not find anything wrong with it, they say there is nothing recorded on the BSI computer system or whatever it even happened while reversing, there is something with it, and it seems that this problem is fairly common, I think that Peugeot should consider recall these dangerous vehicles atleast find way to repair the Not impressed at all.
The same thing happened to me with the purchase of the car Less than 24 hours a capture of the anti polloutuon light keeps coming on and the car cut esp with the motor on the heating What is really unacceptable from a merchant I'm not disappointed and disgusted with this, however, I took it upon myself to get this sorted and I'll be a little kick to get the answer I want Esp under the warranty company - G Keller Fife and Kinross Shires.

Same problem with me, 2009 207 hdi, continues to come up with pollution and cutting I went to the main dealers and found nothing - since then he did the same thing again and is back with them I use this vehicle for work and it is a real problem - Phil Madge Cambridgeshire.
206, in 2005 it happens to me too, really starting to scare me now, he cut today amid a busy roundabout Peugeot said they want 72 just to put it on the diagnostic machine but doesn t seem much interest because research in previous posts, the engine doesn t pick up on faults - Deanna Jackson Northamptonshire.
If the new car, we loved first, hate the very sight now 1 problem, the key would not enter car had to be up at Peugeot main dealer New series of locks and keys the second problem, the wind noise that seemed to come from the driver's door to the main dealer 4 times, the adjusted doors and genrally messed around, no better return, seals renewed around small fixed windows in both front doors, not better, return home dealers again - now they say it is okay with this model yeah You can even hear the front wheels splashing through the water surface as if the windows were open, and they tell me this is normal it does not finished but noisy brakes - its pretty rough and grinding when coming to a stop corrosion discs as the main distributor 6000 miles, but it is ok according to Richard Hardie Ashing your fuel consumption - just 1 April engine - GARBAGE overall, very disppointed and although it is one of many Peugeots I owned - it defined Tely my last.
Update Well well well after many visits to the main dealers and numeorus Pug attempts to correct a mistake that they claim does not exist if it didn t exist then why didn t they tell me to get lost instead of trying lots things correct - they failed until there 3 days I still had wind noise from the side door window area pilots fell ill and exchanged the car now, I know I said that I would have no other Pug, but goes against my better judgment and since I led lot of different courtesy cars every 207 s and we found them OK, I gave another Lion lucky and so far, I am happy that I now I have a 207 January 6 HDI 90 Sport Flamenco Red - like tax route 30 quid a year, like 50 MPG Urban and 70ish MPG on long term impressive interior noise is acceptable for March and that not wooshing of the driver's door to thank the Lord, I lost about 5 great and it cost me 1700 quid to change to a car that is about 10 months longer than the one I had just 10k e e clock, so not bad for a 08, but it's worth not having the constant aggro with key dealers Carlin argue the toss on a problem they claim does not exist - Bob Arkle Northumberland.
mine bought in February 2009 spent the first three weeks back in the concession, arguing about the gearbox Finally, after much back and forth a new gearbox was fitted under warranty because it is a design defect that was resolved to discuss on it is my advice that I now have the pollution and lack the power loss on the car 60560 miles A friend who works in the trade will connect computer and check tomorrow fault he seems to think he can run against the filter pollution to a high tampreture on the computer that clears and reset the computer, it took a few of these and it seems to work well after However, it does not understand why the power falls when it is only a warning it would be much safer for a warning message, but leave the only power so you can go home there are Does the computer that stops the engine power and limited to 2500 rpm there on I had to limp home 138 miles I will post tomorrow with regard to pollution of f Ault if it clears once it has been a glance if someone has expereince for this mistake and what they did to clear I appreciate it.

John, have you sorted the car I had the same problem with my 207, it cuts so called low oil pressure or pollutant and anti cut it at full speed, very dangerous, I was in the garage and, because it is a defect that can occur up to 8 times per day can then be fine for a few days - they can not find the fault that every time he's been in her was OK Hopefully hear you soon, thank you, - Sinead Smith of England.
Hi, unfortunately I have a 207 on April 1 sport I've had since November 9 The light oil warning came in April, filled, but came back two months later, now the light of fight against pollution are constantly shows Peugeot replace catalic converter on Thursday, they say it is allowed to drive until then I can not see why it would need to be replaced after 20,000 miles too my car now seems quite noisey advice on what to say to the garage Thursday I'm worried that the converter just go again if they do not know what caused the converter go the warranty expires in September, so I havent long - Jenny Hider Surrey.
noisy engine in the BMW sourced April 1 sport was a cam chain 20k miles knackered oil is now also disappear - possibly clogging the cat in the process - I'll get his first MOT before the warranty runs Peugeot oxygen sensor packaged in Tesco fuel may have been variable timing solenoid valves packed in, water pump died in 3 years all new never buy a Peugeot I enjoy the comfort old 306 I was running in the 80 s late - it was reliable clunker that 207 is a stack of PC and lost thousands of my s - John Sussex Trench.
Hi John, what the design flaw with the gearbox as our new diesel Sportium a fault which you can slip into the reverse position and adjust your crazy 5th gear all main distributor says it's speed how it is that I'm not racing mechanic fitter and all manual transmissions have a physical lock to prevent this from happening - Kirk Twyman Kent.
Bought my news and I am pleased with the comfort and design; I've mostly city driving to work in the first year, the clutch started jerking poorly when used to any time in city traffic, jerks yet another Feb. 5 years later, there an ignition problem without a solution that causes the engine to bog down when starting or slow motor speed, the clutch slip with many diet is the only solution the main distributor is worse than useless they could not identify the clutch judder, mainly because it does not seem to prolonged use of traffic ignition problem persists even thought they are guaranteed the coil pack and replaced it is a very unpleasant car drive in the city because of the two Peugeot defects have failed to solve, I decided to launch this car in the ground that I also use other cars I would be very reluctant to buy another given that other manufacturers now offer.
Have you found a cure but we have the same problem RAC said he is the No. 2 sensor, I changed it and within 2 weeks, he returned - Alan John Clarke of Cardiff.

This is my 2nd 207 as a driving school car 1 went very nice for 80,000 miles with only serving regular, brake pads and tires No hesitation to buy another My current car began to cut on a completely random basis - without warning - just complete loss of power and direction Junction approaches are a favorite, but fortunately I was driving when you are 70 along A449 and just cut a bum tics moment- and I should know about anti warnings pollution and low oil pressure warnings are normal ERG Get your EGR valve or clean or replaced, and then sell it for the new Fiesta.
Last car day spent all day at the dealership Friday No fault found the engine management light didnt come when Peugeot cut recommended to check and replace the fuse box Can anyone make light on this this is the last chance for Peugeot as s costing me driving lessons on a regular basis Considering Fiesta or DS3 Watch this space - Steve Thomas of Monmouthshire.
Thank you Steve, I just read your review of your 207 I'm having exactly the same problem with mine, was in the garage because he has not done as they have been, there's nothing that 'Im can also make an ADI - test today and another tomorrow it's just a case of keeping fingers crossed that it will be OK, I'm in the midst of talks with Peugeot to get some ex but certainly will not be another Peugeot I had that many problems with this car, it will be good ridance Thanks for your review - Sinead Reale Smith of England.
Don t trouble with the Fiesta if you want good fuel economy, you get 25 fewer brochure by the way it is the same engine you opt for the Ford diesel option currently fighting ref fuel economy, show more later - Nick Smith of Staffordshire.

Yes, I had the anti-pollution messages - finally resolved that the vehicle is under warranty, the dealer or the engine fault codes and Peugeot They seem to follow a chart so rather than going to an obvious solution therefore on several trips to the dealer I had high Presure pump replaced, fuel filter, the fuse box in the engine compartment It contains the defective unit BSI now well - Nigel Rowe Yorkshire.
Update healing was to replace fuses and eventual content to box out, relays, loom ECU and wiring Fiesta is great - Steve Thomas of Monmouthshire.
If I could give zero stars this car I drank gasoline, worse fuel consumption than my previous car was a Rover I never thought could be automatic Rovers fought for poor performance and build, I was wrong right 22K miles and hit clutch went Peugeot UK denies misconduct and accused me of misconduct and cause wear as they express on lawyers bring Peugeot UK I'm not back in.
My 57 reg recently had the clutch fire, however, my garage can t start the car, they had the car a month and do not know how to fix it ideas Also as I agree one way clutch in a short time it seems to be a design flaw - Margaret Pernavas Derbyshire.

We have got a Peugeot 207 Diesel 57 plate clutch and our increased to 23,000 miles as you, Bristol Street Motors in Chesterfield in a roundabout way said it was wear and we hadn t looked after the car that we Peugeot have contacted themselves, this has now lasted more than 3 weeks, they still say the s in the study that we had to pay a little less than 500 for a new clutch and we hope to repay part of the money soon it must be a mistake on this particular model is another problem we had is the driver's side door - hinge is after 6 months after we bought Fortunately it was under warranty, not that worth the paper it's printed on one whole car is a very reliable car, brilliant on fuel, easy enough to do your own service once you have taken the first, don t go pay price concession is nippy, comfortable and very jazzy inside is just after Peugeot care that leaves everything down - Laura Nicholson Derbyshire.
All this makes very interesting reading I have a 207 GTI on a plate 57, 25000 on the clock I absolutely loved it from the start, it's beautiful looking car and drives like a dream, but now the clutch also went on my own, I've had a companion who Sá mechanical sorting and apparentely he Sá complete pig of interesting work to note that it's also made another at the time of a 207 HDI with exactly the same problem, he phoned Peugeot and they said I was looking for at least 700-800 for them to sort out what I am getting at is that if this has happened to many of us, it is certainly the fault of a manufacturer and Peugeot should be Footing the bill or is it fat chance of that happening, I would be interested to hear from anyone who's contacted Peugeot on this issue - Warwickshire.
Was delighted with my 207 1 6HDi110 sport for about 1 year and earlier this week, the clutch started making a noise and I just tow the old 25K car dealer over two years on the clock and the cluch release bearing went and wear my ae bearing wear when the actual cluch may OK or did I t this gift Peugeot wrong want to know the Warrent would not cover clutch or gearbox wear and tear in any case Surely this is a mistake or what makes the car suitable for purpose They say it could be my my 4th Peugeot diesel engine - all went over 100K without clutch problem, I am very disappointed by Peugeot Peugeot I will fight this all the way if anyone else wants to tag along in society would be - Linda Petrie of Aberdeenshire.
my interest comes from my clutch 2007 207 - 25k miles Very annoying So far it's been good, I think I'll also contact Peugeot - Hertfordshire.

Mmmmm seems that all these clutch failiures are lady drivers - Very interesting; -Me you to England.
I bought VERVE 207 1 4 5 doors in September 2009 Until now, the vehicle needs a new structure for mounting suspension, Bluetooth box and heating compartment adapted to what I am at my local dealer where I I bought the car a total of 8 times the vehicle was then handed to me, that the day after the engine cut off without warning while slowing to a roundabout what happened 4 times in total now, but the dealer are claiming that they can not find fault and I through a legal procedure to get my money I still feel completely down and unsupported as a customer who paid good money for a new vehicle someone reliable one can tell me if they have had similar defects with their 207 Verve Thanks Kim br br.
Nope I love my 207 VERVE fantastic little car, never had any problems with it that I had from July 2009 and it is great - Julie McGuigan Northern Ireland.
My 2007 recorded 207 Urban cut at junctions since the day I bought was afraid to resume Peugeot because he was a replacement for a brand new 206 that cut so I contacted the previous owner who had met no problem and I thought he was my driving style to be honest, I often cruised in junctions with clutch fully depressed, I thought it possible that I just depressing the accelerator clutch down and this could have cut caused in recent days faulty error message system engine management arose with the power loss Am still under warranty, but to worry about my purchase too - Lanarkshire.
Car purchased in 2007 and has 16,000 miles ago two weeks, the light fight against pollution came very rough engine stall garage and said ok to drive up leads Not reserved in the garage The top half of the disassembled engine lack is not, complete engine strip down revealed loose pistons Peugeot technical Service have agreed to a new engine, now awaiting confirmation of the seat Peugeot so if your anti-pollution light turns méfiez- you someone else has this problem.

I think I might have a similar problem my pollution light came on engine power also lost, could not catch up and slowed steadily all the way back The garage has authorized the car's computer and told me it was OK to drive and no errors were found as I arrived and expelled car comes less than a mile before the cut car and died stopped in traffic while driving along it is in now the garage and was told the onboard computer died, I was asked to pay some, but recalled that less parking car 3 years I am waiting now the car has been maintained as indicated and very good it was very sudden and I am concerned, I have the same problem - Marianne North of England.
Oh my God, that the light has come on my 08 model this morning - but not the loss of power or anything to date - Jane Wiltshire.
Over the past 14 years, I bought 5 small Peugeots and they just better my last was a 206 XSi I though would be hard to beat, but my 207 GT comes to cover, I love all this extra technology that even luxury cars didn outside maintenance and tires, not of my Peugeot babies were in the garage for the faults I make an average 25K miles per year it is not because I don t lead I do not think I'm just lucky that I will continue to buy mini Peugeots until I wrong can t recommend them enough.
I have no problem with my car, but these days the temperature gauge is still down except when I'm standing in a signal or driving slowly before he nearly always indicates the temperature 90C Another question, lately the pollution control system failure indicator and engine indicator light If I stop you the car for 10 minutes and restart the engine, it disappears, is it a problem.

My mother has a Sport HDi 90 207 and the light is come, he also disappeared by itself We called our Peugeot dealer booked an appointment and was set - County Armagh.
Hi, my 207 re 1-6d, I have a warning and an engine too hot bleep stop comes after about 25 minutes of driving, temperature gauge reads about 90, normal, I replaced a sensor always no change Will I damage the engine if I continue to drive, it seems to me that most French cars have a lot of electrical problems, hazard lights, etc. Tips Help - Pauli Nicholas Kent.
Very disappointed by poor reliability of this car I had two previous Peugeot's no problem no one, unfortunately, problems exacerbated by too poor service concession Four separate visits to heal leak feet rainwater front driver's side Then three other visits to mend leaking oil during the last visit, they have managed to damage the air filter housing, causing it to sit incorrectly- resulting vibrations caused the beam power to break, resulting in a car breakdown while on vacation in France towed Peugeot dealership in Brighton who wouldn t honor the guarantee - they didn t believe me when I told them a Peugeot dealer did the last repair, such was the poor quality of manufacturing, I'll be getting rid of the car before the warranty expires, never touch a Peugeot again .
Hi, can you tell me how the problem with the rainwater in the footwell pilot has been resolved, I have the same problem and every time I take the car in the Peugeot garage, they tell me that n 'there is no fault - Cardiff.
Hi Glen, had the same problems with a dealer and wondering what dealer you encounter these problems Thanks in advance My email is - Phil Grist Clackmannanshire.

Hi, I do not understand why everyone complains Peugeot dealer I bought several of my Peugeot Peugeot dealers premises in Armagh and Portadown and I can not fault them, they are extremely helpful and there 2 any length 2 make sure the customer gets what they deserve they also modern and clean in showrooms time here in Northern Ireland anyway and are not in your face looking for a sale, I can not myself complain about them and they are quite cheap to get a service done and you still get a courtesy car, plus they always washed and valeted my car when they were in a 5 star service my Peugeot dealers Howard Abraham Portadown Roadside Motors and Peugeot, Armagh - County Armagh.
Hi Glen, could you please tell me how the water in the footwell problem of drivers has been resolved, as I have the same problem Please contact if you or anyone can help, thank you - Derek Lyall mid-Lothian Edinburghshire.
Found the answer to the driver of the footwell carpet was soaking wet Lift up the hood, on the extreme left and right side there are drainage holes, you can see that right easily, but the left is hidden the water comes down from the windshield and drains in the plastic mesh and then the drain holes that is left is the problem, if it's blocked and then water is formed and, optionally, on flows into the filter compartment, down the steering wheel column and if you have one your drivers carpet, if you do nothing, it will eventually spread to the passenger seat behind the Ok driver that you have to get into the left side, lift the grill, remove the filter access panel 6hdi get your hand and try to find the drainage hole; it is at an angle, same size as the right side, plus your hands are more likely Once you find it, use something like a plumers flexable rod or possibly a wire hanger to clear the blockage If more email I needed help with - Derek Lyall Lothian.
I bought a pug 207 NEW January 6 diesel having been between me and the woman, some 13 NEW cars in the last 15 years is undoubtably the worst car we've ever owned in the first year under warranty, needed the sytem abs sorting at a cost of 1000 and it is now in the garage as ns driver folding mirror packed work, the car has 11,000 miles in 2 years, and upon inspection, front discs on both sides are heavily grooved States dealers that they are OK, I DON T ACCEPT, in my opinion, it needs new discs and pads it is difficult to obtain the inverse speed most of the time - states the car dealer did not syncro on the reverse, and Sá known fault, the indicator keeps coming on alert for pollution or anything else to keep away from this model it will certainly go before it is guaranteed short on CP FRENCH iT S AT BEST.
Just took a May 3 years 207 dealer Driving home I ABS failure It happens in tomorrow to sort Having read this lot, I tried to get a refund on the damn thing - Norfolk.

I had my 207 HDi 90 Sport for a year and two months now and I must say it was a credit to me, I do a lot of miles to the highway and drove more than 20,000 miles without problems, I can honestly recommend this car to anyone who thinks about buying a 65mpg I get even a June 1 Diesel and tax by 35 years is a big bonus Peugeot made a real star, a huge 5 5 out of me.
I had my car for just over 4 weeks, I've noticed that the stereo switch from radio to CD as if I had chosen it so now my son tried to open the passenger door and the handle came out in his hand my son is 8 I contacted my dealer and reserved to be looked at, but they make noises that perhaps could not fault and I have to cover the costs I find it terrible that the car is still under warranty manufacter s and is clearly a fault If anyone has any advice, it would be welcome.
I have no problem with my 207 THP, a nice car, but what is the point of such a vehicle is soon as anything you will not say you must wait 28 days for delivery - If you can not buy on the shelf and is Peugeot, France, I think its a shame; it may take a Focus ST.
I bought my new car in March this year and everything was fine for starters, I noticed that the car is slow when removing junctions, trying to excel and climb a slight incline, I had air conditioning sorted as I was told that was the problem that was still what a joke I know that has nothing to do with it, the car was in the garage twice to control diagnoses and they found nothing has anyone had the same problem.
The same problems - slow car in 1st and 2nd gear Gear changes are rough and the car can reach 85 mph; Bluetooth does not work, I'm not happy I'm back to being watched - you will - Ian Rougvie Northamptonshire.
I have exactly the same problem on the upper end of the car Brill 100 mph over, no problem, but if you have to slow down to a dueling transportation to exceed etc and you drop rolling down, you put your foot again to overcome, there is no return at all, must be ages for the car to regain the speed at which it was made, we had again once, and they said that it was a defect in the onboard computer they had for a few hours, then I recovered at first I thought he was cured and now the problem is still there, it happens again, I'll let you know what happens - Jenny Ward of Durham.

Just bought a new 207 I am very happy with the car so far, except that sometimes the water temperature gauge dose not move at all until I traveled at least 5 or 6 miles another time, he will move to the far right even normal that the outdoor temperature is the same there anyone out there who has noticed the same thing it would be nice to hear from you.
Yes, the same thing happens to my 207, sometimes the temperature gauge works OK, the next time I drive, it remains on the bottom and not moving at all - Simon Butterfield Durham.
I just bought a brand new 6hdi 1 207 in December 2009, I noticed the same problem with the temperature gauge was told by the dealer that it was because it was freezing Gauge remain very low short trips, but would read the tracks I found was right, but I'm not satisfied with the situation do you further - Tony king of Cheshire.
I just bought a 207 June 1 bonus and love this little car is hdi I swapped a Mazda 3 2 0 sport that could not reach even 20 mpg and cost 215 tax on the road this year, now I get about 58 mpg and only paying 30 annual road tax on small pug has no problems to date, except for the water temperature gauge, which sometimes does not move even after driving 5 or 6 miles and heating surrounding warm air, I can only assume temporary sensors are not suitable for this Told motor dealer and stupid answer was diesel engines take a long time to warm up Remember those cars now engine blocks of aluminum, not iron - Andy Robertson Lanarkshire.
Yes, same situation with my Peugeot 207 January 4 Check the hoses rad up and down, check if they are both hot, if any, there is nothing wrong, it is not a bad car in overall, I think the main gift dealers t help when things go wrong finding a good local distributor useful, I do, much cheaper warning lights do not come on at times, I had the belt warning light safety, also the light direction control, as the airbag warning I think it s Peugeot have electrical problems, I made 33,000 miles with this car and I am 50 50 on the purchase of another because there many of the best cars around for the same price it is sad to see all these people with questions - Paul Lister Hertfordshire.

What happened to me as the car just doesn t seem to register a temperature When he finally does the needle can swing up and down throughout the journey taken to the dealer who said that everything was fine after while almost a week, but changed the temperature gauge anyway now it has started to happen again can not wait excuses dealer will come with this time - Essex.
I'm having the same defect that you describe it started last winter, I drove about 6 miles and noticed that the water gauge did not move, I also dipped the clutch to see if the car was mounted low rpm as if it was in the cold start mode He was so l'Ecu got wrong information and even put the car in cold start mode the next funny thing was that if I went completely around a tour of the water gauge start to increase to 90 but as I got off a straight bit of road, he fell back to zero, I am thinking, therefore lock the other strange thing is that the water pipes are rad not the hot inner matrix seemed to blow hot the heat My plan is to purge the correct way cooling system by forcing water in the system with open funds lost can not do it today as snow, but keep abreast of progress - Reece Wolsey of England.
Monitoring of this fault, I found an air lock was in the system as the temp sender is the highest point of the motor, I jacked the face of the square drive off the temporary sender and bled and the air system before doing this way when the car was on the level that I had removed the temporary sender and noticed that there were considerable amounts of air into the housing Presant thermostat which threw me on that fault was that the temperature gauge was not working and the engine was still reving at 1200 rpm heating die working inside and rad stat finally open I checked the electrical device temperature transmitter in the heating and cooling down and working ok Just as a note to check the temperature transmitter device reads cold 20k ohms and 5k ohms when looking hot or lower in the t transmitter emperature up, I could not see the water, so I realeased the cap of the bottle filling to allow the water to fill it help search Water realated defects on these sites and the common FAU lt of head gaskets, I am not supprised with an air lock inherant opportunity like this - Reece Wolsey of England.
I love my car we bought brand new few weeks after the launch, and I've never looked back Yes, we had some minor problems with it, such as pollution fault, which was settled by Platts in high Wycome, replacing the sensor, but overall, its large car someone else said, it is slow, which is true, but if you have just bought a January 4 what you expect a smooth drive, and I always feel very safe when I'm driving There is a lot of space, I have a 1 year son, so I have a lot to carry around and enough room in back for 2 adults I am already looking forward to my new 207 Septemeber Variant Year of make.
My faulty alarm 207 The filter of depolution all the time and the engine is stuttery for the first few minutes in cold weather, could you tell me that the sensor was replaced Cheers - Duncan Kennedy of Inverness-shire.
I have owned my 207 GT for 8 months now and it has been in the garage every month in the currently last 8 months in the garage for the past 2 weeks with the same fault re-occurring just get legal advice for the replaced car.

I had a problem with opening the door too wide car unless you hold the door you go out, it swings open wide one got damaged at the turn, I would not recommend April 1 as it is very slow to drive doesn t pick up speed in moving out unless the gas pedal to the floor in this case, you will only about 18 miles per gallon.
My car hasn t worked for 8 months now - been Toomeys Southend - constant fault with many other pollution problems The bus is faster and more exciting ever buy a Peugeot.
Your 207 has back problems while roller My car rolling backwards when it is stationary Is it common.
Not wanting to be Sarky, but are you using the handbrake If therefore may need adjusting - Nigel Rowe Yorkshire.
Owned this car for 18mths now - quite satisfied of the inner level of equipment and space - not with skirting the dangerous gutless engine Up hills and pulling at junctions should not be taken with a pinch of just salt had 20k service is among the primary dealer which was cheaper than taking a normal parking then came the new brake pads 115, and the boot of cV 200 I believed to be under warranty but no, as 20000 miles seems a little low for so need replacing contacted the customer service that aren t interested put down to wear someone else had the cV boot problem.
I bought 1 January 4207 sport there almost 3 months, it is my first car and is a player and as well on fuel The stereo is great and the car looks great too recently, when I was in steering wheel, a warning light came to say failure of pollution; the car became slower and when I start the engine, it is bumpy as the engine warms, could someone tell me what is the cause of this situation and about how it is to repair.

I had 207 January 6 HDI 90 bhp sports for about 18 months, I was reading the manual because just had a service and had to have new brake pads and discs on a 36k service not something I would have expected even if I see it's happened to others, I noticed the comment about the pollen filter causing lumpy engine and I have seen mention in the manual that I also find the car door opens wide having said that, it has excellent handling, slips rounded corners, it is solid and doors solid feel the excelleration is brilliant and it can hold its own against a mini coopers, all for an average of 53 mpg in winter and 63 mpg in the summer, I had to drive new Corsa past two days, YT, thin, expensive and uncomfortable without excelleration and sounds like a tank, I'll take my 207 daily - Allen Griffiths Kent.
Performance-wise to the standard of my previous 206S, if not a little better, but in general a poorly designed car from a visibility standpoint front roof Amounts may hide a car especially when you are waiting to turn right, etc. . The dashboard trim is an aluminum frame that reflects poorly on the windshield when driving into the sun does nothing else on the dashboard windshield is raked too, here is what is the cause the problem, as the antifog don t clear the screen because of it below the bumper is a plastic pad that hangs too low, and just drifting when I try to mount a reasonable inclined slope , especially in the Peugeot dealer I spoke to.
I agree with John, my 207 is 3 years have had breaks before January changed Then the ABS sensor was faulty before it was replaced, but the problem has no car has been back he could the new sensor replaced again they think is faulty that does not give you much faith in the brand or parts that I did not like the reflection of the dashboard, and the plastic guard under the bumper before results from the slopes by car lights more depolution have ABS break failure and steering, and engine diagnoistic I agree also that it is slow as most other reports I think I going to exchange as soon as possible - Charlie Schwab Cornwall.
I bought my new 207 in October with an additional body kit that I had seen in the showroom, I had no problems so it 4 weeks ago when the car broke down on highway with an indication of low oil pressure oil was good and I was towed to dealerships that I had purchased a month later, I still don t have the car and they replace the engine after many promises to have it fixed soon excuses were varied, I am disappointed by the service given and still have my car back.
I had the same problem with the warning coming on regularly to check the engine oil, although during a check it manually seems fine, but if I leave it without adding oil, he said the engine oil pressure is too low A local garage seems to think the engine will need training to try to locate the fault have they ever found out why this message appeared - Hertfordshire.
whistles turbo them as a police car when they told me cold, normal, and the boot lid must be primed to open and close properly, normal was told, but the cuts and bruises on my head do not think if the dealer is worth enthusiasm, unless I pay a Clio, but wished they stopped doing the color I wanted, should have chosen another color Clio was 4 years without any problems.

After buying a beautiful appearance Peugeot 207 Sport from our Peugeot dealer just a few weeks, I am sad to say that with only 200 miles and 2 weeks Motoring Car is back with the highway concessionaire Failure appears as an error pollution system showing through the cars management system that took the dealer 5 working days to admit they did not know what was happening eventually down loading data to Peugeot for their own Review - why not do it the first day, I wonder the manufacturer's response and constant excuses why the dealer's fault can not be sorted are unimpressive- far may be we should have stuck with a Clio.
I have had this car for 1 year The first fault that occurred was that just speedometer stopped working and fell to 0 as the tachometer when I was about 70 mph on a dual carriageway in decline in EMU was to be replaced After much wrangling with the dealer I bought the car only 3 weeks before I manage to get a courtesy car for free instead of paying about 11 per day for her it was a good thing because it took 5 weeks to repair rather than about 5 days, then the light seatbelt intermittently come with a warning saying that there was a seat belt pre-tensioning system not airbag 3 trips back to the dealership and fingers crossed, the problem seems to be solved to find the rather poor fuel economy although it may be because of my behavior having said all this, I still love the car and I plan to get 1 6HDi over the next 6 months.
The car is beautiful and takes good speed but it seems to be a fault with the lights - its all too easy to turn them off by accident when passing between dipped and main beam, I started at 50 mph on a dark country road at night without lights and so having to make an emergency stop, it happened to me twice in 2 weeks and twice as my husband, it's very dangerous, I do recommend the t no one.
