LOS ANGELES - German carmakers Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi and Porsche define the European luxury, having built the reputation based on advanced engineering, refined performance and the state of the art technology.
But it wasn t always so three quarters of a century, the French car manufacturers could go all the way to the end with the world's best when it came to pushing limits style and grace when art deco was king, the Car manufacturers such as Bugatti, Delahaye, Delage, Talbot-Lago, Voisin and Hispano-Suiza product ravishingly beautiful cars, some cars now popular among the most valuable ever.
The memory of these cars live in shows and auctions of classic cars Petersen Automotive Museum here recently organized an exhibition called rolling sculpture, which celebrated some of these French cars, including The exhibition is now over, although Petersen now present one of those French brands in another exhibition entitled the art of Bugatti.



Like some of their luxury American counterparts such as Duesenberg and Packard, French companies could not resist several disasters, including the Great Depression and World War II and its consequences.
