PSA Peugeot Citroen offices were raided by anti-fraud investigators as part of ongoing investigations on pollutants in the automotive industry.
The company said its vehicles meet emissions.
Meanwhile, the British government tests found no evidence of car manufacturers outside the mounting devices of the VW group to cheat emissions testing.
However, the United Kingdom stated the actual emissions were higher that the conditions of laboratory testing to all manufacturers.



The government and automakers have been on alert following the scandal Volkswagen emissions, which emerged in late September.
Volkswagen VW acknowledged its diesel cars were equipped with a computer software designed to flatter the emissions data during testing, and said Thursday it had reached an agreement in the United States to provide substantial compensation and car redemptions.
Peugeot said on Thursday it had been a visit and seizure by France to the General Directorate of Competition, Consumption and the Repression of fraud DGCCRF.
PSA confirms compliance of its vehicles in pollutant emissions in all countries where it operates, it said in a statement.
Confident in its technology, the PSA Group is cooperating fully with the added business authorities.



Meanwhile, the British government said its vehicle test program had found no evidence of car manufacturers, outside the VW group mounting devices, to defeat the approved emissions test program.
He said the tests were performed on 56 different types of vehicles in Germany and 37 different types of vehicles in the UK over a period of six months.
The Department of Transportation said it had tested a representative selection of the best selling diesel vehicles in the United Kingdom.
Its all tested manufacturers, emissions of nitrogen oxides NOx were higher in real terms and on the test track they were under laboratory conditions, with varying results significantly between different brands and models.


For example, tests of nitrogen oxide emissions for car models like the Honda CRV, the Volvo V40, Mercedes E250, Peugeot 208 and Range Rover Sport found that they exceeded the Euro 5 limit of 180 mg per kilometer in real conditions.
