I have owned, Citroen, Peugeot and Renault at the moment, and IMO Citroën was awful, but I like Peugeot Price Quality is hard to beat Mercedes obviously better, but price much higher, so that the IMO coefficient is not better.
Djones written, I think it would be unrealistic to say that the basis of this survey, French cars are a reliable way, as a person who knows about cars and was friends with a wide range of cars knows that they are unreliable and poorly constructed.
BMW My father recently needed an engine replacement, the entire engine, and not a single case, but a common problem I've never had a big problem with one of my French cars, in fact I've never had major problems with any of them, so I always smile when someone like you to generalize on German or French cars.
That said, I still like BMW, it has always been one of my favorite brands and I think it always will be, but before judging a brand judge IMHO, a country is childish, you need to account many things, and the price is one of the first that I'm not sure any French brand is much worse than the German brands reliability wise and links on the reliability prove, but I'm pretty sure that any German car much more than any French car of similar segment as well.
